Margaret Ryall designs and conducts aqua fitness programs for athletic injury prevention, treatment and rehabilitation.

Margarets's work is widely acknowledged by Sports Physicians and Physiotherapists who regularly refer clients for specialized professional aqua fitness rehabilitation treatment.
Pivotal to the program is the incorporation of sports specific exercises utilizing the Ryall's buoyancy belt and rippers, which were invented by Margaret to increase resistance while supporting participants in the no stress environment of deep water.

Margaret's many clients in recent years include a variety of Olympians and Paralympians :-

Robyn Maher
Michele Timms
Trish Fallon
Shelly Sandie
Karen Dalton (Basketball)
Ben Melmeth
Alyson Annan (Hockey)
Marsha Green (Athletics)
Ian Thorpe ( Swimming)
Lori Munz (Swimming)
Cynthia Mitchell (Paralympic Down Hill Skier)

In recent years Margaret has designed and conducted aqua fitness programs for the National Rugby League Clubs, the New South Wales Sheffield Shield Team, Junior Level National Athletes, and Junior Level National Inline and Artistic Skaters.

Clients are not only returning to training and competition in a shorter time frame than their coaches expected, but are returning with a higher degree of fitness and strength, than experienced after land based rehabilitiation programs.

Sutherland Shire's Margaret-Ryall was announced by the NSW Fitness Council, in November 2005, as 'Fitness Professional of the Year - 2005'.

Margaret, who is an International Aqua Fitness Presenter and Personal Trainer with sixteen years experience in the fitness industry, is an innovative and dedicated person, with a passion to impart knowledge on healthy lifestyle and to particularly make a difference with clients with disabilities and special needs.

In the recent years Margaret has worked with Olympians Ian Thorpe, Alyson Annan, Michele Timms, Shelly Sandie, Trish Fallon and Robyn Maher, National Swimmer and Olympic trialists Lori Munz, the Sydney Kings and Flames basketball teams, the former NSW Sheffield Shield squad, the Bulldogs and Panthers rugby league sides, and the Australian Defence Force.

Included in Margaret's current client base are the Sharks NRL team, 2006 Australian Winter Paralympic candidate Cynthia Mitchell and former St George & Sharks great Monty Porter, as well as many pre and post operative patients, young adults with high support needs, stroke, MS and Parkinson's sufferers, and the general population.

Margaret is also a well respected learn to swim coach, having coached Ian Thorpe in his formative years.

Margaret is also a testament to the old adage, "necessity is the mother of invention", having herself invented two aqua fitness products to alleviate clients' suffering and to assist in their rehabilitation, and jointly with a young Sydney physiotherapist recently invented a third aqua aid, for photos click here.
